Newport Dunes RV Resort |
I live near the Newport Dunes RV Resort. This park has a nice water-front location in exclusive Newport Beach California and was dubbed the "Ritz of RV Parks" by the Los Angeles Times newpaper. RV friends from out of town have asked me what the Dunes is like, so I shot a few photos to show them, and you. These were taken in early April, 2006. |

The vacant site above is 2105,
one of the nicer ones with an unobsturcted view of the bay. |

The site above is 2118. To
the right is 2117. These two are also on the bay but the views are partly
blocked by the restroom building. |

Most of the sites have no views,
except of each other. This street is on the side opposite the bay. Site
2301 is on the right and 2327 is at the far end. The sites are seperated
by chain-link fences and some have trees at the back. |

Across the street from Sites
2301 - 2327 are rental cottages and more RV pads. At the top of the bluff
behind the cottages is the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1). |

So there you have a small sample.
Is it the Ritz, or something else? |
