1. What do you wear to a wedding reception?
a. You can choose to have us wear a suit, tux, or relaxed dress shirt
and pants.
2. How many people will be needed to help the DJ?
a. None, we handle the equipment and all of the set up and breakdown
3. Will the DJ act as a master of Ceremony?
a. Yes, if that is what you prefer (90-95% do)
4. Does the DJ need a draped table for
the CD Player?
a. This depends on how your
reception hall will be set-up. We have black and white generic drapery,
but if you are color coordinating, you may want the hall to provide us
one.
5. Are you able to play continuous
music?
a. Yes...the music never stops
6. What is the scope of music you have?
a. We carry about
7,000 tracks covering a wide variety of music.
7. Do you use any theatrical lighting?
a. Yes, there is no additional charge above the normal
wedding pricing
8. Do you need a microphone? Will you supply it?
a. We have all of the
equipment necessary to make your reception run as smoothly as possible.
9. Are there any special needs for
your equipment?
a. Other than the
normal precautions for any electrical equipment, no.
10. Is it possible to get a demo tape?
a. We’re sorry, we do not
offer a demo tape, but we can provide phone numbers of happy customers
if you need.
11. How many breaks will you take, how
often, and for how long?
a. We do not break
during your event as the music remains continuous.
12. What is the payment schedule?
a. A $50.00 non-refundable
deposit is due when you book our services and the balance is due two
full weeks before your event.
13. What is the cancellation policy?
a. Events canceled
within 90 days of event date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee
(50% of the remaining balance).
14. When does overtime start?
a. It depends on the
contract terms. You sign for a fixed amount of hours and anything over
and above is considered overtime.
15. Who do we make the payment or
deposit to?
a. Make all checks payable to
Music-X-Press.
16. Are there any extra fees for
travel?
a. Within 35 miles of Caribou,
$0.00 --- 35 to 50 miles outside Caribou $25.00 --- 50+ miles $50.00.
