Entry Guidelines

  1. Each swimmer must be a local YMCA Swim team member with an active membership.
  2. Age group determined by age on December 1, 2010.
  3. Swimmers may swim three individual and two relay events.
  4. Swimmers must be duly entered in individual events in order to be eligible for relay events.
  5. Unlimited relay entries will be accepted, but only 2 relays per team will score in each event.
  6. 10 & under swimmers may swim up, but points achieved will not be accumulated for individual high point across age groups.
  7. NT entries will not be accepted. This meet will be held as an open meet; therefore we need times for each event entered.
  8. In an attempt to control the length of the meet, we will limit the distance events in the following manner:
    We will limit the 1650 freestyle to the top 5 girls and the top 5 boys.
    We will limit the 1000 freestyle to the top 10 girls and the top 10 boys.
    We will limit the 500 freestyle to the top 20 girls and the top 20 boys.
  9. Deck entries will only be taken to fill empty lanes and as an "EXHIBITION" swim. No points will be accumulated for either the swimmer or the team. There will be a $10.00 entry fee for individual events and a $20.00 entry fee for a relay team, payment required at the time of deck entry. Deck entries will only be accepted up until 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
  10. This meet will be conducted in accordance with the “Rules that Govern YMCA Competitive Sports.”
  11. In compliance with the YMCA changes effective 9/1/06, USA Technical Rules will be followed at this meet.
  12. Please enter all your swimmers in event # 99, so that all swimmers will be included in the database for deck entries.
