This 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage (sleeps 5 – 6) is located near Cold Mountain along the East Fork of the Pigeon River. The the cabin is secluded with a private yard and has a charcoal grill, horseshoe pit and a fire ring that is perfect for family gatherings and roasting marshmallows. Two large maple trees provide plenty of shade. When you are not relaxing on the front porch, you may want to explore the sights and attractions that the Greater Smoky Mountains area has to offer. We are located just 15 minutes from the unique town of Waynesville with its art galleries, boutique shops, coffee shops and gourmet dining opportunities. Maggie Valley is only 20 minutes away with its many popular attractions including the historic Ghost Town theme park. Take a 40 minute drive to the town of Asheville and you have the Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn or just spend the day exploring this unique city. You have your choice of festivals and craft fairs, horseback riding, trout fishing, white water rafting, gem mining, golf, mountain biking and many special events throughout the year. And don’t forget that the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 15 minutes away with its many natural wonders including Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls and many others.
