Rates and information

Rates are $95 per night, $525 per week and $1575 per month. State and local
taxes are not included. A two night minimum stay is required.

A cleaning service is included at no extra charge. We would like for you to have as much time as possible to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Our cottage has three bedrooms with 1 queen and 4 singles. Pillows and blankets are provided. However, please bring your own linens, towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.

There is a television with a DVD/VCR player and a small video library. However, the TV only receives two stations so your best bet is to spend your evenings outside around the fire pit roasting marshmallows or on the front porch rockers.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, toaster and crockpot. A complete set of cooking and eating utensils are provided. Please bring your own paper towels, napkins, dishwashing liquid, etc.

Outdoor features include front porch rockers, fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, and horseshoe pit. Charcoal is not provided and wood can be purchased at Frank’s General Store down river if you can’t find your own.

A washing machine is provided as well as a clothesline for drying. A hair dryer is provided for your use and is located in the bathroom.

There is no telephone or high speed internet. However, there is cell phone and mobile broadband reception for most wireless providers. The cabin elevation is 3000 feet so there is no need for air conditioning. Open windows, fans, a front porch and two maple trees provide “nature’s airconditioning” even in July and August as the evening temperatures drop down to the 60s and sometimes even the 50s. And as a guarantee that you will like our “Back to the Basics” approach, we will refund your money (less a cleaning fee and small utilities charge) if you are not satisfied.

No smoking in the cottage, please. Pets are considered on a case by case basis and subject to a non-refundable pet fee.
