Frequently Asked Questions
Meeting Dates and Times:
Post General Business Meetings will be held on the SECOND Thursday of each Month. Meeting opens promptly at 7:00 p.m. (1900) and generally runs 1.5 to 2 hrs. depending upon agenda. Cell phones should be turned off during meetings. Legionnaires that are stand-by / on-call emergency personnel should use silent mode. Five dollar interruption fine applies.
Post Executive Officers Meeting will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each Month. Meeting opens promptly at 6:00 p.m. (1800) and generally runs 1 hr.
Post Hours of Operation
Post Home will be normally open with a relaxed schedule of 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., earlier and later if requested; unless scheduling conflicts arise. Reservations and Open Hours changes will be mediated and adjustments posted asap. Check Message board or contact a Post Officer for details.
Canteen closed during all Business Meetings; no Alcohol served or consumed.
Check Calendar and Message Board for changes and updates. Contact Post Adjutant or Service Officer for special needs.
Building Rental Rates
For private functions, Building availability will be on a first come basis;
Building Rental Rates have been set at:
Post members $ 35.00 + 75.00 refundable deposit
Unaffiliated Legion Members $ 50.00 + $ 75.00 refundable deposit
Unaffiliated Non-Members $ 100.00 + $ 75.00 refundable deposit
Contract will be signed, and any required ALE permits to be obtained by the Renter, prior to the planned event. Post Officer must be on premises at all times.

Donations
Donations made to the American Legion are tax deductible and can be presented to any Post Officer;
receipt can only be obtained from the Post Commander or Adjutant.
Tax ID available for larger donations.
Requests for assistance
Requests for assistance needed can be relayed through any Post Officer.
Larger requests for donations should be presented in writing to the Executive Committee.
Contact the Post Commander or Adjutant for assistance in completing the necessary paperwork.
