Central Florida Chapter Members,

 

As we start a new year for the Central Florida Chapter of The Photographic Society of America, I would like to inform the membership of our plans for the November meeting.

We will have our first meeting of the year on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 12:30 PM at the Thirsty Marlin, 351 West Bay Drive in Largo (727) 586-3474).   We can order off the menu.  Separate checks are OK and everyone is responsible for their own lunch.  At the meeting we will show the 2009 PSA Chapter Showcase program that was presented at the PSA Conference held in Yellowstone National Park last month.  Also, we will be showing a show titled “Old Florida” prepared by Stan Ashbrook and Erik Rosengren.  That show was presented at the at the Yellowstone conference celebrating the 75th anniversary of PSA.  The show is comprised of images taken by members of our Chapter. 

Prior to the meeting we can photograph the annual Ironman Triathlon that starts and ends on Clearwater Beach on November 14th.  There will be enough time to see the winners crossing the finish line and still be at the restaurant by 12:30PM.

Please notify Jim Mahoney (jimpmahoney@hotmail.com) by November 5th  if you are planning to attend the meeting so that he can give a headcount to the restaurant.
