Dreams Fulfilled
Her smile is like the dawn of day Enlightening those around her. But she is not aware of this The impact would astound her.
She loves the sand between her toes And wind blown through her hair. Along the quiet beach she walks Seeking dreams, but will she dare?
Her dreams ride on the ocean waves Sitting ‘neath the sky of blue. Then out she goes to bring them in And make them all come true.
One by one, she captures dreams Then sits upon the shore. To her surprise, there’re all the same She never wanted more.
Her dream is to bring happiness To family and her friends. So simple, yet a major task - Her smile, such love it sends.
And so she walks, her head held high, That smile, now beaming bright. For those who stand in darkness Have known she is the light !
