Moved the kayak to stands and glued outside seals with thicken epoxy. You add a very fine wood fiber to epoxy to get the thicker epoxy for filling gaps. Once all the outside seams have been filled. The staples are cut and carefully pulled out. The seams are scrapped with a carbide tip scrapper and sanded smooth. This whole process toke several days.
