I wanted to make the kayaks a little different and so I decided to try adding an wood inlay to each kayak, along with a strip of dark wood along the top edge of the hull. I found two inlays on the internet, an eagle for my boat and hooded merganser for my wife's boat. Below I am cutting out one of the merganser with a fret saw. I needed 2 merganser one on each side of the bow. The eagle will get put on the deck of my boat.
