Since there is no way to deliver the gravel directly to the pool in the back yard, it was left in the driveway. I rented a skid loader for about $500 for the third weekend in October and arranged for the gravel to be delivered the same day.  The weather had been wet up to that time, but I lucked out on that weekend.
