If God promises that we have everlasting life and then doesn't allow us to have everlasting life, then God could not be trusted!! But God can be trusted. I say with the Bible "Let God be true and every man a liar." Romans 3:4

A person is saved by believing in Jesus as Savior. Then God forgives ALL sin through Jesus' blood. No works on my part are involved, except to make the decision to accept Christ as Savior. (Ephesians 2:8,9,10 & Titus 3:5,8) Since a person is saved without works, he remains saved without work by the love and mercy of God. The believer then seeks to do good works, not to remain saved. but to continue to have fellowship with Son and the Father.

I would be glad to discuss the controversial verses with you if you contact me. The thought that helps me so much to come to the conclusion of Eternal Security (so called), is that everlasting life lasts for ever. So if I have it, it lasts forever.

There are many deceivers in the world and many who are deceived. Some say a prayer, but don't have enough information to know what is happening. Others may say a prayer for other reasons. So some may appear to be saved, who are not, and some are saved who may not be living the life. We cannot always tell for sure, but we can pray, teach and help everyone to live for God because they HAVE ETERNAL LIFE !!!!
