Important Notices and Events
Important:

For all members of fire departments, you must check with your chief or training officer to find out whether or not the fire department still has an agency code number with the NYS-DOH before filling out the agency verification form.  The NYS-DOH has recently asked all first responder agencies to update their paperwork.  If this has not been done the department no longer has the agency code , and its members are no longer eligible for the free EMT or Refresher training.

Schedules for the EMT-B Original and Refresher starting in February 2012 are now available.

Students Taking the EMT-B Original or Refresher can download the Pre-Hospital Care Provider Student Reference Guide and/or the NYS BLS Adult & Pediatric Treatment Protocols.
Just click on the link under the Orange County Division of EMS 2012 Spring Courses.

The Application for the EMT courses and the Verification of Membership form that can be downloaded from this site, can now be saved after filling it in, and emailed to us if you are a member of an agency that has been assigned a 4 digit code number by the NYSDOH, Bureau of EMS. An original signed copy must be brought with you to class.

If you are not the application has to be mailed with a check made out to the Orange County Commissioner of Finance.
