                  Notices and Events
  Important:

There are new collaborative protocols that have been adopted by the Hudson Valley Regional EMS Council in conjunction with a number of other regions.  These protocols can be found at the App store and downloaded to your iPhone free.  There are changes for the treatment of patients for EMTs, Intermediates, Cardiac Care Technicians, Paramedics and Physicians.  All practicing prehospital health care providers need to read these protocols since they do supersede the state protocols.

The schedule for the Fall 2014 EMT classes has been posted on the website.

The Application for the EMT courses and the Verification of Membership form that can be downloaded from this site, can now be saved after filling it in, and emailed to us if you are a member of an agency that has been assigned a 4 digit code number by the NYSDOH, Bureau of EMS. An original signed copy must be brought with you to class.

If you are not, the application has to be mailed with a check made out to the Orange County Commissioner of Finance.
