The Oshkosh Bird Club was founded on May 4, 1970 in order to stimulate interest in and promote the preservation of birds. Club members are actively involved each year in field trips, bird counts, and local bird projects.

The Oshkosh Bird Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Rowland Room on the lower level of Evergreen Manor Retirement Community, 1130 N. Westfield St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  

The meeting includes a short business session, recent bird sightings, a program and refreshments.  

Everyone is welcome to participate!

Field trips will be organized at the monthly meetings.

Programs - 2009

Programs are the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Evergreen Retirement Community.

September 1 - "Where to Find your Wisconsin Wish List Birds" by Daryl Tessen

October 6 - "Wisconsin's Flying Jewels" by Anita Carpenter

November 3 - "Hormones and Behavior in Eastern Bluebirds" by Vanessa Arboleda

December 1 - "Bird Migration: Following the Flyways-Facts, Fiction and the Future" by Noel Cutright
