Parent/Leader meeting on March 25, 2008


Attendees:

Old Business: Summer day camp – training is on May 17th. Tigers must have an adult partner with the child. Cost is $45.00, no charge for the adult but they must go through the training. Contact Cheryl Waldrup.

New Business: Great American Cleanup- Saturday April 5th. Reminder to meet at 9:00 a.m. at Thomas Elementary Pavilion.

Spring Campout-April 11-13 at Clear Lake Park. There will be a pirate theme which will include 3 belt loop activities and a pirate game. Diane Kale will put out an email to remind those who have not signed up yet.

Scout Show-Saturday May 9th at Dallas Market Hall. We will set up the rain gutters and let visitors race boats at our booth. We need volunteers. 2 Brown shirts must be present at all times. We ask for volunteers from each den to take a 1 hour shift from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that Saturday. We also need volunteers to help set up the night before, Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and volunteers to help clean up after.


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Scouting for Food: Our district set a new record this year. We collected 898 items from our pack.

Positions to fill for next year will be discussed at the pack meeting on Saturday afternoon at the Spring Campout. How to allocate the revenue from sales of Scout Show cards will be voted on at this meeting as well.

The elections will be held at the next PLM on April 22 at Schimelphenig Library.

Annual Audit/Budget Meeting will be held on Sunday May 18th at Kathy Rapport’s house from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Kathy will put out an email when we get closer to the time.
