1. If anyone has decided to make donations to Friends of Scouting, please fill out the paperwork and send it in. Any amount can help. District receives approximately 27% of their budget from this, and appreciate anything you can do.
2. All School Night for Scouting coordinators are encouraged to attend next month’s roundtable. A SNFS Meeting will be held, prior to the Roundtable, at 6:45 PM.
3. Mom and Me and Dad and Lad will be held on April 28 – 30 at Camp James Ray, 71 Camp James Ray Road, in Pottsboro, TX. Cost is $90 for adult and child, and all meals are provided. Attendance is limited to the first 250 people.
4. Webelos Summer camp will be held the following dates: July 2-5, 5-8, 9-12, and 12-15. Everyone is encouraged to register as a Pack, instead of individually. This is due by July 1. Any boy that has graduated into the 4th grade, or 5th grade, are invited to attend.
5. There will be a training day for all Day Camp volunteers, on May 20th. Day Camp Coordinators can pick up the t-shirts, and caps, at that meeting.
6. Day Camp is coming up. Current registration in $75, and will end on Saturday. On the Friday night, June 2nd of Daycamp, will be a Tigers Nite. This is for boys that are currently in Kindergarten, that are eligible to be Tigers next year.
7. WOW is on April 21 – 23rd. All Webelos are invited to attend.
8. Scoutshow is on May 13, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Each family that wishes to attend must purchase a ticket for $5. This is good for the whole family. Remember, $2 of each ticket will go to the boy selling its den, for Summer Activities. So Sell, Sell, Sell. And if you run out, please contact Bob Craig, he has extras.
Well, as you can see, lots going on at the Roundtable. I really would like to encourage all leaders, parents, or interested people to attend the meetings. They are a lot of fun, and very informative.
