Join Scout Night:
- Due to the urgency of this critical activity, voted to reassign responsibility to Susie Luttrell and Cheryl Waldrop Thanks for volunteering!
- Susie pursued moving the date to Aug 15, but was unable to get the gym on that date.
- Aug 31 @ 7pm will be the big event. Need all scouts and dens to plan to attend.
- Susie working on details and will notify leaders/Pack as things develop. Looking at having 4 booths with activities; powerpoint of pictures; fast start training presentation; pinewood videos, etc. More details forthcoming.
- Need to collect dues for new scouts that evening ($60)
Fall Campout: Millissa Mendiola and Pam Harrison responsible
- Scheduled for Nov 10 through 12, at Tyler State Park, approximately 1.5 hrs from here (but well worth the drive)
- Several have been there and it sounds like its very pretty, lots of trees, good fishing, and it will be COOL weather!
- Probably a Thanksgiving Theme (did I hear someone volunteer to be feathered ?)
- The Pack is paying for half
- 18 Sites reserved
- Cost is $10 per campsite (for the whole weekend) + $3 per adult (over 13) per day money due to Millissa at the September Pack Meeting
Fundraising:
- On the Border scheduled for Aug 23. Pack receives 10% of total. Susie sent email to print coupons to hand out.
- To schedule 1 meal night per month (Fuddruckers, Chick Filet, etc)

Misc:
- Rejoining scouts will need to pay their dues no later than the Sep Pack meeting ($50 per scout)
- Troy verified cost to use school gym or cafeteria - $20.80 / hr (10% discount for scout functions). To reserve for Sep and Dec pack meetings. Need to research other alternatives for Pinewood Derby (Garden Ridge ?, Carpenter ?, etc)
- Library reserved through Sep for Parent Leader meetings

- Aug 12: Summer Event Ultimate Belt Loop 9 am, Shawnee Park (3380 Sherwood Drive) take Parker east to Ave P, turn left and follow it until you see the park on the left. Bring your frisbee
