Parent/Leader Meeting Minutes for September 25, 2007
Attendees: Shawnda Jacobs, Suzie Luttrell, Paul Waldrop, Tom Kale, Diane Kale, Matt Harrison, Lori Shoe, Stephanie Vosper, Monica Lewis, Joyce Kimbrell, Joyce Barasa, April ?, Gobriel Rusthoven
Old Business Popcorn: Incentive for the 5th grade Webelos- as usual 28% of the first $375 goes to the pack, but after that the next $28 extra goes to registration cost, and everything extra after that goes to a gift card for the Scout Shop to be used for any future personal scouting need
-E-mails have already gone out to announce that any full popcorn sheet gets entered into a drawing for a marshmallow shooter, and anyone getting at least one $25 pack donation gets entered into a drawing for a Ranger's Baseball cap.
- Popcorn Sheets Due by 10-25 at the Kale's House
Join Scouting Night: 8 boys signed up that night. 2 others signed up earlier. This year we have a total of 7new Tigers, 1 new wolf, 1 new bear, and 1 new webelo.
Habitat For Humanity Service Project: Today, Sept. 30, from 1-3pm at CVS on Spring Creek and Custer. Bring your cub in full uniform for maximum cuteness!
We will be asking people to donate $1 and sign a stud to be built right into a habitat for humanity house.
Fall Campout: October 26-28 at Pilot Knoll Park. $10 per family due by October 8. Halloween theme and pumpkin carving. Bring costumes!
Past Due: $50 annual pack dues are past due if not yet paid. An exception is being made for 5th grade webelos only as we will wait until after popcorn sales are final to see what goes toward registration per what each individual scout's sales are.
-Adult Leader applications are also past due for anyone who has not turned them in yet.
New Business Finances: We have enough money to rent a truck for the popcorn haul on November 10 if we need to. We definately will be asking for help loading and unloading when the time comes.
5th Grade Webelos Fees: This is just a restatement of what has been said already. 5th grade webelos who sell over the first $375 in popcorn will have the next $28 extra go straight toward their registration. Therefore we will wait until after popcorn sales are final to compute what each individual 2nd-year webelow may owe.
