Parent Leader Meeting location:
- The library is no longer available on Tuesday nights.
- Options were to move to Friday or change locations. Friday was not a good option for most.
- Will have the Jan meeting at the Reform Church – if that works out, then will book it for the remainder of the year.
Pack Email policy:
- Lot of issues raised on usage of the Pack email. Many are requesting to be removed due to volume of non-Pack related issues, emails and pictures.
- James Donaldson proposed a Pack Email policy which was adopted with 2 changes:
1. Wording on the Committee Chair duties with regard to this document were clarified.
2. Content to be posted to the Pack Email shall include “Links to pictures of Pack Scouts engaged in any Pack activity”.
- James Donaldson sent finalized document on Pack Email policy
- Based on the above document, the committee chair will censor emails on non-Pack activities
- Den pictures can be submitted to the Webmaster and he will add the link.
- Many were unaware of the Pack Website. Here tis: http://home.roadrunner.com/~pack235/
- The monthly parent/leader meetings should be the place for discussing issues or concerns.
Misc:
- Several wanted to hear the results from our popcorn sales (money raised). Discussion deferred until Lori Shoe could be present.
- An item to discuss for next year’s Popcorn event is the allocation of Scout bucks from popcorn sales. Thought this could be used for top award incentives.
