Troops at DFW Airport Photo Album

Thank you for your interest in the Meet and Greet program for our troops.

Meet and Greet the Troops is a program started to encourage and support our deployed military. Anywhere from 150 to 260 troops come through DFW airport each day on their way home for a two-week R&R (Rest and Recuperation). One flight a day arrives at DFW. A small portion meets their families here but the majority will catch connecting flights home. Volunteers gather each day to be there to welcome these troops off their flight, thanking and encouraging them for their service to our great nation.

All are welcome to come and participate in Meet and Greet the Troops. To learn of flight arrivals, call this recorded message 972.574.0392 after 8 p.m. at night. It will inform you of the arrival time. The flights typically arrive between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. everyday. The Military does their best to keep us informed. You will want to check the recording several times in the morning before coming to the airport. The troops arrive at Terminal D, Gate 22, non-secure side. You will not be going through security! You will park directly across from the entrance and Parking Passes will be issued as you enter.

Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have further questions! If you are a large group 50-100 and or wanting to pass out some kind of a goodie bag then I do need to schedule you but if not you are welcome to come any time!

No Home baked goods are permitted!

Thank You For Supporting Our Troops!
