                Please note: Our next meeting is the first Friday of the month; October 10th at 7:00 p.m.

       Extend your greeting to our newest members, Maggie McNamara and Sandra Distin. In addition to or newest members, I would like to welcome back Mary Alice Hannon.

    Our next meeting will be our Harvest Supper on Friday, October 10th at 6:00 pm. Please note the time change. Everyone bring your favorite dish to pass.

    Kudos’ to Kathy Cronin for another fun filled time at the Half Way to St. Patrick’s Day Hooley! Thank you to everyone who contributed to another successful year with your time and donations.

    I also want to recognize those who joined us for a Day of Caring at the Ross Park Zoo along with those who sent flowers to plant. Your hard work was appreciated and will not go unnoticed by those who visit the park. Finally thank you to those who donated items and who helped work the joint Rummage Sale.

    Please note the upcoming events in October and November:

    Make a Difference Day will be celebrated at the Hibernian Garden again. The date and time will be announced at our meeting along with a sign up sheet.

    Ethnic Festival is October 25th at the Arena, please contact Pat Curry Wilson our Historian if you can help.

    Halloween Celtic New Year is October 25th at the Hall from 7-11 pm, please see insert for details. This is a blast! Barb Fox is our featured DJ. There will be Prizes for best costumes although costumes are optional.

    Sock Hop for Chow will be held on November 22 at the Hall from 7-10 pm. Bill Grace will be there to entertain us. There will be a minimal entrance fee. Everyone that attends is asked to bring an item(s) for Chow.

    Our AOH/LOAH Breakfast is November 9th. Please look for details in the November newsletter. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated.

    Please continue to pray for all our Hibernian Brothers and Sisters and our Military.
