Elementary School Track Meet - 2009

Event Date: Saturday May 16, 2009 8:00am to 1:30pm
Roosevelt High School Track & Football Stadium.
Have athletes there @ 7:30 am

Track Meet News:Updated 27 April 2009

• Procession of the Schools:
Please have your team line-up by 7:50 in the following order at the southwest gate to the track. The procession will begin promptly at 8:00. Small schools will peel off first onto the north bleachers, large schools continue around the track to the south bleachers. (Click Procession to see procession order)

• Coaches Meeting:
- Mandatory Coaches Meeting, was held on Apr.22 at 4PM in the Board Room.
The following changes were made:
- Athetes with the top eight times will qualify for the finals in the 100 and 200 meter races.
- A waterfall start will be used for the 800. See Events for a Description

• Rosters: Rosters are due via E-Mail May 1
- Final changes are due by May 8th
- No changes day of meet except shuttle relay-see coaches' information for more details • Seating:
- Large schools will be sitting on the south side of the track.
- Small schools on the north side (reversed from last year)
- Specific seating assignments will be determined after the Coaches Meeting

• Snack Bars: Eisenhower PTA will run large schools' snack bar and Vicentia PTA will run small schools' snack bar.
