36th Annual CNUSD Junior Olympic
Elementary School Track Meet - 2012

• Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Monday April 23rd, at 4:00 p.m. in the Media Lab at Jefferson Elementary School.

Procedures for entering data for the electronic timing system and rules for the meet will be reviewed. It is imperative that one coach from each school attend this meeting. Joe Robles will be guiding you throug h a process to enter your athletes’ names and their events, real time, into a web based program for the electronic timing system. Therefore, you will need to have your roster finalized by April 23 so you are prepared to enter athlete names and events.

• New Rosters Due by April 23rd!: To support the new electronic timing system, a new roster template was be created for Large and Small schools. Select Large School Roster or Small School Roster as appropriate and--> Bring your filled out roster to the Coaches meeting

• Electronic Timing!: We will be using an electronic timing system for the running events, except the shuttle relay. The shuttle relay and field events will be hand timed. All events, except the shuttle relay will be run on the South side of the track. Field events will be on the infield, the shuttle on both sides of the track.

• Volunteers: If you or know someone interested in volunteering at the 36th annual track meet, contact Jerri Higinbotham, RSP, Jefferson El. 736-3226 jhiginbotham@cnusd.k12.ca.us

• Snack Bars: Franklin Elementary will be hosting our snack bars.

• School Location: Large schools will be sitting on the NORTH side of the track and small schools on the SOUTH side (reversed from last year).
