EXPERIENCE
1995-Present	NATIONAL PATENT ANALYTICAL SYSTEMS

Electronics Technician  - Build, test, calibrate, and repair BAC Datamaster Infrared
Technology Breath Alcohol Testing equipment. Perform mechanical, optical, electrical,
electronic component level troubleshooting and repair for nationwide NPAS Service
Centers. Provide over the phone and on-site technical support for various Police,
Health departments, and Service Centers nationwide on a daily basis.

Quality Control Supervisor - Maintained a strict computerized Quality Inspection and
Testing program over all incoming parts, metalwork, and production assemblies. 
Coordinated quality control issues with outside vendors. Provided in house technical
support and institute cost and time saving steps for production staff. Re-drafted,
implemented, maintained a comprehensive Quality Control Inspection and Testing 
procedure for BAC Datamasters. Managed 300 item electronic, mechanical measurement
Test Equipment Calibration Program. Researched and designed In-House calibration
procedures for various QC measurement tools. Familiar with SPC, SQC, MIL-SPEC, ISO 
methodology and various computer software.

1992-1995	NAVAL COMPUTER TELECOMMUNICATIONS MASTER STATION (US Navy)

Field Calibration Technician - Component level repair, calibration of general-purpose
electronic test equipment including but not limited to: spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes,
multimeters and analyzers at a Type 4 Calibration Laboratory.

Telecommunications Technician - Provided technical support, troubleshooting, repair
and daily maintenance for digital telecommunications multiplexing system servicing
numerous communication facilities, US Navy ships and fleet operations on the Island 
of Oahu, Hawaii and the entire Pacific Theatre.

1987-1992	MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND (US Navy)
Repair Shop Supervisor - Coordinated shipboard electronics repair shop for 6 months.
Directed daily planning, scheduling and equipment maintenance. Provided supervision,
direction and leadership for 6 electronics technicians.

Test Equipment  Manager - Designed, implemented, organized and managed a 150 piece 
test equipment calibration program from scratch. Drafted operational all policies
and procedures. Coordinated all activities. Maintained a 98% In Calibration readiness
level for 3 years despite operational restrictions and commitments.

Copier Technician - Maintained 6 Savin copiers in peak operating condition despite
limited parts availability. Renovated
parts for re-use. Provided daily customer support.

Various - Managed shipboard Electrical Safety Program. Active member of commands
Firefighting Repair Party, Helo Crash/Rescue party, Underway Replenshipment 
communications staff, and on call electronics technician for US Naval shipboard 
communications facility. Familiar with procedures, protocols, security, maintenance,
management, supervision, TQL, TQM and Leadership skills.
