I piloted the #95 Subaru in the
SCCA SPEED World Challenge
This was taken at Mosport racetrack, Canada. Can you hear my rabid scream as I fly downhill in the roller coaster called 'turn two' and 'turn four' ?

Performance Driving Instruction
I have instructed students for over 17 years at Moroso Motorsports Park (West Palm Beach), Sebring, and Roebling Road (near Savannah, GA). One-on-one schooling, suited to meet your needs is available for a modest fee. I can organize the day for you and your clients/customers, guests, family and/or car fiend/friends. Yes, sometimes a 'car friend' turns into a 'car fiend'. It is more cost effective to share the expense of the track's rental (and EMS, fire truck, corner workers) as a group rather than individually. I have enthusiasts that are willing to share this expense (and experience!) with you. There is also a skid pad available at Moroso that may be rented as an abbreviated (and less expensive) learning day. Whether it is an introduction to racing, a long-awaited personal treat to yourself with a new vehicle, or a refresher, I can guide you to a more satisfying (and safe) on-track experience. I use a helmet-to-helmet communication system, carefully conceived analogies and 'role playing' to quickly and CORRECTLY teach you the skills needed to be on a racetrack in a safe and competitive manner. I can also bring my race or street car into the learning arena.
Referrals are available upon request from HUNDREDS of car-enthusiasts, worldwide.
I have taught students of all ages and abilities to be fast and safe. I quickly perceive on-track shortcomings and can evoke a positive change in a professional and light-hearted, non threatening manner. This is exactly what separates a successful 'racer' from a successful 'driving instructor'. The two abilities - to race and to teach racing - are vastly different skill sets. I excel at them both....Are you confused by this? Never assume that the ability to perform a feat and the ability to teach that feat are the same....they can differ in many ways. For example, you don't want a medical professor operating on your body without extensive experience (not just extensive teaching time), do you?
I organize, act as Race Director, and teach Performance Driving Schools (Track Days) for the following car clubs, dealerships, and automotive performance organizations:
The Cavallino Classic
Alfa Romeo Owner's Club
Ferrari Club of America
Car Guys
Craig Zinn Automotive Group
Shelton Sports Cars
George Csanadi's PSP Driving School
BMW CCA
Italiafest at Moroso Motorsports Park
SVRA, HSR, SCCA

Looking to lease an industrial warehouse in Apopka or Orlando? You've found the right spot!
Some new items: 1981-83 GTV-6 distributor,
new, $200.
Hey, which Alfa Romeo does the above right grille fit? AlfaSud?
I'm always looking to purchase excess quantities or out-of-stock or discontinued inventory, automotive related or not. I pay a healthy 'referral fee' for passing on information about a collection of literature, boutique items or a parcel of mechanical parts that you know is for sale. Tell me about it and we both stand to benefit.

These four-color temporary tattoos are printed reversed so that when you affix them to your body, they 'right' themselves nicely. Four to five days (depending on if you scrub or just wash) is the norm. Mix and match the two designs - 6 for $10 postpaid.
If you place them on your girlfriend, one is FREE if you send me a photo of it in place on her...

Car collector warehouse storage offered for lease
Factory repair manual $100 - an excellent publication. Covers
all 115, 116 models. It is several HUNDRED pages.
My two years in the PARTS Pro-Truck series is over. 18,000 miles of travel, 8 blown out trailer tires and three exploded,
expensive race engines later. I have new-found respect for Oval racing. I finished 26th of 63 contenders, and first in their
"Division Two" series comprised mostly of Rookies. Not too bad for an Italian-American that just learned how to just-turn-left
while not swallowing my Red Man Select. We're converting this beast into an SCCA SPO road-racer.
Yee-ha. This is the truck I raced in the PARTS Pro-Truck Series. We (accidentally) set a new World Record by placing 11 cameras - 10 in the bed, 1 more in the cockpit - in our purpose-built race truck. Guinness Book of World Record received word of it and has the images and interview to prove it. PARTS is a very competitive short track oval series for purpose-built trucks that demands more from its drivers and race preparation than I ever imagined. I have a new- found respect for those Craftsman NASCAR Truck and Busch Grand National drivers.
The badges are all new and vary in price from $20 for the 'Graduate' side badge to $50 for others. Inquire.
NOS cast iron 1-4 Spider manifold, make offer.
In an issue of SCM - Sports Car Marketletter - the bible of collectible sports cars and auction results - there is
a feature about me. Their "Profiler - License To Collect" column is the first article in many moons to document a
sportscar guy to go 'oval' on them.
A movie, called "Miserable Orphans" was shot in Orlando in March, 2002. Look for my Fiat Multipla, Fiat Jolly and my Alfa Romeo Duetto in it! Note the green screen. Short-term warehouse/stage rentals are now available to the growing Orlando area film industry.
A scattered engine (that's Southern for "we blew one up") at Montgomery, Alabama in the hot summer heat. Oh well,
at least we ate well that weekend. PARTS Pro-Truck was a tough series... Where be m'Skoal?

Alfa 2600 NOS fuse block and cover, $350. Details at right. I have two of them and also a Giulia 1600 NOS fuse block, $325.
NOS Alfa seatbelt assemblies for sale as well. Want to place an order or pose a question? email me? click here
I'm always looking to purchase excess quantities or out-of-stock or discontinued inventory, automotive related or not. I pay a healthy 'referral fee' for passing on information about a collection of literature, boutique items or a parcel of hard mechanical parts that you know is for sale or trade. Tell me about it and we both stand to benefit from it!

This was taken at Charlotte Motor Speedway. My friend and chief competitor, Mike Flynn, and I are reliving the race. We were both ragged and tired, the heat took its toll on both of us. He drove his Audi to a third place finish, I was second. We both sucked the fumes of a Volvo for the entire race. I'm on the left.
1960 101 Giulietta Spider well-prepared for Vintage racing. Full eight-point roll cage, adjustable front roll bar, fuel cell, Aeroquip braided fuel and oil lines, race seat, high compression engine and a 5:12 rear end. Twin Webers and ready for action! $19,500. Chassis number *1495*08594* and
engine number *AR112*15019* Many modifications have been made to this car over the past year. It has a current logbook from HSR as well as SVRA and was raced at the famous Sebring racetrack in March, 2003, and again in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007, 2008 and 2009. We finished 2nd in class in a
trouble-free 90 minute enduro! The car is well sorted and ready for a new season.
I have a large, detailed data base on Ferrari's 17 digit VIN code, FIAT and Alfa Romeo VIN codes, how to
decipher them, the meanings of each digit, Alfa Romeo factory color codes, etc. A search of Alfa Romeo chassis numbers will reveal a range of correct block numbers for your car. Unlike
say, Corvettes, all Alfa Romeo only document a RANGE of block numbers for each series & year of automobile.
I enjoy Italian car racing and restoration, smoking cigars, Jeet Kune Do and... qui si parla italiano.

Above are various Alfa Spider and Milano side view mirrors, $100 each. A few replacement mirrors are available - see above left.

I have been researching Alfa Romeos for enthusiasts all over the world for several years. My basic research includes
determining all of the following for a $25 fee (Paypal is accepted): *Exact date of manufacture of your Alfa Romeo *Exact date of first sale of your Alfa Romeo *Original exterior color and paint code (and interior color if mentioned in the factory logbook) *First owner's name and city (when available) To do so, provide me with the VIN (the AR****** number found on
your car's bulkhead) and a check for $25. It takes about one week to complete. I can also determine which paint codes (and cross reference the old paint code to the new PPG or Glasurit code so
you can stop at your local paint dealer and order a quart) and wheels for a given model and/or year of manufacture are
correct. Did you realize that there are 12 different silver/gray paints available?!? There are six different 'white'
paint codes and don't even ask how many 'red' color codes there are. I'll determine that for you. I can also prove an Alfa enthusiast with the range of engine numbers appropriate for their car. This data can be useful
to determine if the car's current engine is the same one fitted at the factory. Related documentary services can also be provided as needed. I have a long, long detailed data base of chassis numbers (VINs), paint codes, wheel types, and
related information. The extended search is $10 for these services. Also available is info from the factory's "Special
Tool" catalog. I have most of the tools for sale/trade/rent if you wish...
I have an extensive database on the factory tools used by Alfa Romeo. Many of these tools were sold to enthusiasts - you
may have several of them - I can tell you what they were designed for or what specialized tool you are looking for to
complete that odd job. My tool base is cross-referenced by both tool number and description.

Here we are, reviewing the grid, giving me last minute details on the track and our setup at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We've won outright three times there.
Nicknames are such an integral portion of oval racing, ain't they? We have ours. I should say that in my lovely and newly-learned Southern vernacular, "We gots us ars". In my team we 'gots us': Floppy, Buck, Special K, Gismo, Little Dave and Scooter. Big Dave needs a nick name. Stuart Orgaz needs one. Guess which one is mine. If you guessed "Floppy", you'll have to guess again, smartass.

"Veloce" 6" x 14" 5-spoke road wheels from an early 1980s Alfa Romeo Spider, any cosmetic items specific to the
Fiat 500/600 Jolly (like chromed bumper tubes, toys, literature or badges). I'd love a 1950s in-dash am radio by
Audiovox or a Becker Europa or Mexico am/fm in dash cassette radio. Ialso need some simple 15" steel wheels
for my Giulietta.
A burlap tool bag with tools or the jack for an Alfa Giulietta and a 1969 dual master cylinder (Ate) would also be
excellent trade bait for me. I also need the spare tire cover (it's metal, on the right side of the bike) for my 1966
Vespa 1800cc Super Sport. As you can see, I get new items for sale every so often. Check again next month on this site.
The Veglia quartz watch, it looks like a tachometer, is $85. Rare and very, very, cool. It has a green leather band.
