Notes: These ledgers are located at the McKell Library in Chillicothe, Ohio. Ledger B and C had an index in the front where Dr. Foulke
noted beside each name paid, sued, gone, dead etc....and a page number in the Ledger for the entries. These are not in most cases
exact dates of death but last entry dates of payment. Often times with a note saying dead or dead and insolvent. For a few only last names
are given. Due to a lack of death records for this time period these may prove invaluable to someone researching this area. Some of the
writing was tough to read. I suggest you view the original record.
