PARENTS WITHOUT PARTNERS (PWP) is an international organization with chapters all over the world. We schedule activities on nearly every calendar date. Throughout the week we have meetings, discussion groups,arts & crafts and an occasional "dinner out." On weekends, we have FAMILY events including  bowling, arts & crafts, family dinners,  excursions, movies, picnics, and camping.

Our PARENT activities include dances, house parties, pot luck and progressive dinners, cards,summer bowling, golf, volleyball, ski trips, canoeing and much, much more. Our special events include a Valentines Day Dance, a Halloween Party & Dance, and our Christmas Party & Dance.

As a single parent living in a couple-oriented society, you are faced with adjustments to your lifestyle. Being a single parent can be frightening, lonely and confusing. The true value of our organization lies in bonding together in friendship to help overcome these problems. We offer you the environment to make these changes through the exchange of ideas, mutual understanding, help and companionship.

To be eligible for membership in PWP, you must be SINGLE (by virtue of being divorced, widowed, separated for a period of at least 30 days or never married) AND HAVE A LIVING CHILD. Custody and age of children are not factors of eligibility. Orientation Meetings are offered each month to provide you with the opportunity to become acquainted with PWP and our Chapter. At this Orientation you may complete an application for membership (applications are accepted only at Orientation Meetings). Dues are $45 per year. PWP requires a Professional Reference (Doctor, Lawyer, Minister, Boss, Personnel Department, etc., or a current PWP member) to verify that you are single and have a child, so bring their name and address.
