Introduction to Computers and Programming
   nitty-gritty

I was first introduced to programming around 1993 when I took FORTRAN 77. I actually tried to market a banking program written with FORTRAN, but GUI-based banking programs were entering the market around this time, so my DOS-based program has little appeal. Besides all the recent programming courses I took for my .NET Database Technology degree, I also took a C++ course to experience the world of nitty-gritty programming again.
