Astronomy

Astronomy was the impetus for my interest in physics. Initially, I considered becoming an astrophysicist. However, after attending college, my outlook changed and I developed a greater interest in computers.

Computers

Computers captured my interest in the early 90’s. The endless possibilities associated with computers was intriguing, to say the least. Today, I design, build, and maintain computer systems. Moreover, thanks to the knowledge gained in pursuit of my programming degree, I can write software to manipulate computers.

Music

Music has always been an important part of my life. I taught myself how to play drums when I was eight, and began playing in bands as a young adult. Although I’ve left that life behind many years ago, I still have an appreciation for music, especially 80’s music.

Photography

Photography taps into the artist portion of my cerebellum, as music does. With the advent of digital cameras, my interest in photography peaked. Digital photography seemed to be a natural extension of my interest in computers. My first digital camera was an Olympus C4000; pictures taken with it have been used to compliment various websites.
