After earning his first two points handled by his owner, Wesley won his breed championship under the fantastic handling of Barbara Vann. He finished in only two weeks with three majors and two Best of Breeds! Barbara also handled him to his Canadian championship. Wesley was the first champion for his sire, Ch Homewood Hurricane, ROM.

Wesley is the epitome of the truly versatile Sheltie. After earning his breed championship, handled by Barbara, he earned his Agility Championship trained and handled by my husband, Robin. They were a very popular team in the agility world. Then, to earn his Versatility Excellent title, I trained and handled him in the Herding ring. He was one of the early Champion VCX Shelties.

In very limited use, Wesley has produced some very nice children. But the best thing of all is what a wonderful companion and friend he is to his entire human family, even including the grandchildren.
