Yes, a FORD! I already had it! It was originally going into a '93 Mustang LX, but sold it in trade for this '68 Camaro. Engine had too much in it to let go so one thing led to another and in it went. There was a big benefit! I was able to move it back 4 inches for better weight distribution and add the turbo intercooler behind the radiator core support. Talk about your controversy! Head Info For the head work I turned to CHE Precision Inc. and Wegner Automotive Research. Between these two companies, they produced a head that performs beyond my expectations. AFR starts out with a very good street head, but where I was planning on taking it, I needed some good added insurance. Since CHE Precision and Wegner Automotive are both in the NASCAR engine business, this was a great place to get I was looking for. Power & Reliability! C.H.E. Precision Inc. custom machines Valve Guides, Valve Seats and Ti retainers to NASCAR specs all day and everyday. #1 in manufacturing high end precision and reliability! Wegner Automotive Research prepped AFR185 heads. 7 angle valve job substantially increased mid cfm flow from stock. See head flow data below. From previous dyno pulls with stock AFR's, there was a 40-50hp gain throughout mid rpm range.. No porting was performed...Very Impressive!

Cooling Custom Ron Davis Radiator & Intercooler These guys produce one hell of a product and helped design this one off set-up. With the 2 pass radiator design and the the high flow intercooler, the engine never gets hot. Superb!
