Welcome to Chick Farm's 2010 CSA program! If you are not a member, click here to find out how to join. If you are a member, please read on...

Spring has sprung and it's time to get things going! By now most of you know the routine: the list of veggies starts small -- early greens, asparagus, rhubarb -- and gets longer as the season progresses. Before long we'll have a bountiful display with a wide variety of vegetables -- something for everyone!

Throughout the season, this page will keep you up-to-date on what's available and what's going on at the farm. You can use the menu on the left-hand side of the page to see detailed descriptions of available products, to place orders, and to check your account balance. Please be sure to contact us if you have any questions.

CSA Potluck: Our annual CSA Potluck dinner will be held rain or shine on Saturday July 11, with a tour of the farm at 4pm followed by the meal around 5:30. Family and friends are welcome, and feel free to join us for just the tour or just the meal or both. If you're staying for the meal, please bring a favorite main dish or side dish to share; dessert and beverages will be provided. If past potlucks are any indication, the food will be fantastic -- we have some excellent cooks in the crowd. Please RSVP and tell us how many people you're bringing. We hope you can join us!

Survey Says... Click here to see the results of our 2009 CSA customer satisfaction survey. If you haven't taken the survey yet, it's not too late! Click here to take the brief ten-question survey. Thank you!

CSA Market Every Day: Chick Farm is officially in winter mode. The CSA Store is now open every day until 9pm with an assortment of winter storage veggies as well as the usual eggs, meats, etc. Read on for the particulars...

Potatoes, Onions, Shallots: These are stored in our cellar. If you would like some, please call or email telling us how many pounds you want and what day you're coming. We'll bag them up and leave them on the counter or in the fridge, depending on the weather. Special Offers: potatoes $1/lb, 5-lb minimum; shallots $3/lb, 2-lb minimum.

Beets: The beets are in the fridge. Please check the CSA Store for details.

Eggs: Last summer's pullets are all grown up, so we're back to just the "regular" size, a large/extra-large mix. All of our eggs are now certified organic.

Chicken: We have frozen chicken available all the time and fresh chicken 3 or 4 times a month. Be sure to let us know if you want to be notified when we have fresh chicken on hand.

Next Market Day: Thursday October 29, 3-8 pm

Order Deadline: Midnight Wednesday October 28

New Items: Purple Viking potatoes

Back Again: Swiss chard, fresh chicken

Coming Soon: Celeriac
