Chick Farm in Wells, Maine
White Leghorn Flock
Organic Free-Range Eggs

Our certified organic free-range eggs are proudly produced by our mixed-breed flock of laying hens. When they're not busy laying eggs, the ladies (and Foggy the rooster) can be found relaxing in their spacious quarters or romping in the adjacent pasture. If you've never had fresh eggs from pastured poultry, you're in for a real treat. They really do taste better!

At the Farm We have eggs available at the farm for $3 per half-dozen. No need to order them -- we keep a good supply in the barn fridge. Please check our Where to Buy page or contact us for more information.

At the Market Through the end of March we'll be selling our eggs and frozen chicken at the Gateway Winter Farmers' Market in York, two Saturdays a month from 9am to noon. Starting May 5 we'll be back at the Kennebunk Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm. Eggs are $3.25 per half-dozen at the farmers' market. Please check our Where to Buy page or contact us for more information.

Questions? Are you wondering what "free-range" means, or why some eggs are white and some are brown, or whether fertilized eggs really are healthier? Check out our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for all sorts of good information about eggs.
