Fiperizing means taking a computer application and make it available as a FiPER Component. A FiPER Component is any piece of software that can be included within a FiPER workflow so that it can to interactass information to and from other FiPER Components.

FiPER is based on the Java 2 platform, but many software packages, regardless of whether they were developed in Java can become FiPER Components provided the proper interfaces.
