ABOUT OUR HORSES
Here at Rivendell, we hand-raise our foals to ensure that these horses are people-oriented and sensible. Our training program takes a bit longer than most, because we don't believe in pushing a young horse before he's ready. Sometimes, depending on the animal, we don't begin any serious training until these young horses are three-year-olds, when they have reached a maturity level that allows them to physically and mentally rise to the challenge. We believe that a strong, complete, individualized basic training results in a horse who is ready, willing, and able to go on to more specialized training in any discipline. Our small yet elegant stable allows us to give each and every horse the individual handling they need to become safe, confident equine personalities that any horseman, novice or veteran, can appreciate.
