For a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway for family and friends, come visit the newly remodeled and refurnished River View Bed and Breakfast (B&B) or Guest House. Built in 1939, this beautiful bungalow style home is nestled in the shade of five giant pecan trees. As you sit on one of three patios, you can watch the glistening sun reflect off the Blanco River and enjoy the gentle breeze.

Blanco is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Enjoy the drive to the town as you pass through the rolling hills. The town was named after the white limestone on the bottom of the river. Blanco is the Spanish word for white.

Once you pass through the spacious front porch and enter the house, you are greeted by amber colored walls and floors that are original to the house. They take on a particularly lovely glow as the sun sets. The detail and simplicity of the trim around all the windows, doorways, and the arch between the rooms is inspiring. A large sun room at the back of the house is surrounded by windows to view the river.

The large, well-stocked kitchen can be used by guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. It can accommodate meals for large gatherings of family and friends as easily as a romantic dinner for two. The spacious living room has conversation areas and a gaming table. Sit back in the comfy chairs in the old dining room to watch the cable TV or a DVD. Relax outside on the back patio overlooking the river. You can even BBQ on the grill provided.

Reservations can be made for the whole house. Reservations can also be made for individual rooms. There are three bedrooms to sleep six with additional accommodations to sleep 3 more.

The house will set the stage for many lasting memories.
