Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” (Matt.18:20) We are thankful for our Lord’s promise! “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42) In faith, with joyful thanksgiving, we gather to worship as did the first Christians.
The Service of Holy Communion is the primary worship for the Church, and we celebrate the Eucharist each Sunday. The (cranberry red) Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) published by Augsburg/Fortress and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is our pew hymnal. We also use the (blue) With One Voice (WOV) and other resources for liturgy and hymns. We enjoy a variety of worship and musical forms (Chorales, Gospel Songs, Folk, Etc.).
We have six digital hearing assistive devices available for worshippers who have hearing difficulties. These devices produce sound directly from the microphone and speaker system to make hearing the message, liturgy, and music a delight.
