1. Veruca Salt at the Ritz in Raleigh (August 2)
Incredible show... and I got to see it all from the rail right in
    front of Louise Post.

 2. Veruca Salt at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach (October 27)
Basically got the same spot as I did at the Ritz show... the
performance wasn't quite the head-on blast it was in Raleigh,
but it was more than made up for when I got to meet and talk
with Nina Gordon and Louise Post after the show.

 3. Trip to Japan (June 13-25)
It was business, but I got to spend plenty of free time wandering
    through Tokyo.

 4. Newark (Delaware) High School 10 Year Reunion (November 28)
So many changes in ten short years... too many personal
memories and observations to list here.

 5. Lilith Fair at Walnut Creek (July 30)
Jewel unexpectedly rocked and Joan Osborne was awesome. Susanna
Hoffs distinctive style was a nice addition at stage 2 and the
closing set from Sarah McLachlan was incredible.

 6. Steelers at Eagles in Philadelphia (November 23)
Bobby Hoying's first home start in the NFL. His strong arm and
pinpoint passes staked the Eagles to 14-0 lead and a much
    needed victory.

 7. Getting arrested in Virginia (November 9)
A long forgotten (unpaid) ticket in Virginia led to me getting
arrested and having my car impounded after I got pulled for speeding
(turns out Virginia had suspended my license because of the unpaid
fine). Note to self: pay fines before you forget about them.

 8. Bengals at Eagles in Philadelphia (November 30)
In only his third pro start, Hoying scorched the Bengals for 313
passing yards and threw 4 TD passes.

 9. Sheryl Crow at Walnut Creek (September 28)
In the second to last show on her two-year tour she obviously
didnt have much left, but still brought it on during her
signature songs and her personal favorites.

10. Beck at Reynolds Coliseum (March 25)
Opening act Atari Teenage Riot sucked, but the Cardigans were
great and Beck (who I never listened to before this concert) was
incredible... a very diverse and entertaining show.
