1. The World Trade Center attacks (September 11)
    Nothing else to say.
    
 2. Wedding Ceremony (August 11)
    In front of our freinds and family we had a formal ceremony. Now
    we have two anniversaries... Sept 20, 1999 (our civil ceremony)
    and August 11, 2001.
 
 3. Closed on our house (January  31)
    A little lakefront property to call our own... too bad mosquitoes
    have to come with the lake!
    
 4. Trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon (August 16-23)
    Lots of fun in Vegas and the the drive around the Grand Canyon
    was incredible.
       
 5. Karens first tooth (May 21)
    Not much fanfare... maybe one or two days of discomfort (as far as
    we could tell).

 6. Karen is crawling (July 13)
    The fits and starts and face slides are over... she's getting around
    and into stuff on her own now.

 7. Karen takes a step (October 13)
    Just one unassisted step, but she bridged the gap from our backgammon
    table to the couch on her own and without holding on to anyting. We're
    in trouble now.
    
 8. Eagles 40, Dallas 16
    It was a rainy, chilly night but the Eagles beating the Cowboys on
    national TV is always a good thing.
    
 9. Flyers 4, Hurricanes 3 (January 27)
    The Flyers fell behind 3-1 before rallying for the win in the Raleigh
    Entertainment and Sports Arena.
