The Aqueduct Rowing Club was

   founded in 1973 to encourage

  recreational and competitive rowing

on the Mohawk River. The Club

  currently has approximately 100

 members. The  boathouse is located
on the corner of Aqueduct and

Balltown Roads adjacent to the Rexford Bridge in Niskayuna, NY.

The club annually sponsors a three-mile head race

('Head-of-the-Mohawk') in  October. A 'Learn to Row' program

for novices normally commences in June and sculling clinics are

scheduled periodically throughout the summer. Keep your eye on the

'Calendar'  hot link for details.
