Objectives of the RWCC

To promote an informed electorate through political education.
To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through political participation.
To facilitate cooperation among women’s Republican clubs.
To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals.
To work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees.
To support and work for ballot security in the general elections.
To support objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee and the Alabama Republican Executive Committee.

RWCC Volunteer of the Year
The Sue Cobb Volunteer of the year award is given annually to the member who makes a major contribution to the efforts of the Republican Women of Coffee County (RWCC).

This year’s winner Nell Sims, worked tirelessly for her daughter Shannon Clark and her successful campaign for Circuit Judge. She walked every community in Coffee and Pike Counties putting up over 3000 yard signs an distributing 29, 000 push cards.

The Club has been extremely active and effective in helping to get Republicans elected to all levels of public office. We are also involved in a variety of outreach programs.
