     R. W. White spent his childhood and many of his adult years in New York. Having lived in England and traveled widely, he now makes his home on a wooded hillside above the Susquehanna River along the border of Pennsylvania with his wife and the animals of the forest.

     He has published numerous articles in addition to his four books, and is working on his yet-to-be-completed novel, Oboruni, a story of international intrigue and romance set in West Africa.

    

     He has a B.S. from St. Louis University, a  Masters from Colgate-Rochester Divinity School and a Doctorate from Hartford Seminary. He remains a member of a writer critique group, has led writing workshops and actively appears before readers groups, historic societies and other community organizations. An avid ice dancer, he is a retired minister from the Presbyterian Church (USA) and United Reformed Church (UK).
