A motion by Greg Wren (entered by proxy, Selby Anderson):

Resolved, that the tournament director is required to provide the Secretary-Treasurer with the following info: (1) names, addresses and USCF numbers of participants; (2) entry fees, including memberships collected; (3) prizes paid and not paid. Additionally, the TD shall state all fees including his TD fee to the Secretary-Treasurer.

The motion amended by John Niven to also collect email addresses. Motion and amendment passed by unanimous vote.

Motion entered by John Niven to give $2.00 discount to local tournaments for SACC members. Motion amended by Ernie to give SACC members a card with 5 boxes. One box will be filled in each time a member participates in a tournament. This should encourage SACC membership (it will be free after a member plays in 5 tournaments). Motion and amendment passed by 3-2 vote.

Gregg entered motion to raise all Entry Fees for SACC-run tournaments by $5.00 (except for SACC Club Championship). Motion passed by unanimous vote.

Gregg Stanley asked that his idea for a new tournament format for the next Martin Luther King 3-day holiday be read into record. This format would have the Saturday and Sunday rounds (3 each day, G/60) to be unrated, with the Monday rounds to be USCF rated. Prizes, points to be transferred, and other concerns would need to be addressed.

Motion to adjourn entered by Selby Anderson; seconded by Gregg Stanley.
