After 35 years of working in the medical field, I have decided to dedicate my time to pursuing my other true passion, which is spending my time and energy working with animals. I have been involved with dog obedience training and behavior modification for 40 years as a hobby. I owned a successful kennel of show dogs, which I groomed, trained and handled for over 15 years. My husband and I are presently involved in showing and raising guinea pigs.

Over the years, I have owned all types of animals, reptiles, rodents and fish. I have raised and shown Betta fish, too, learning much about water quality and fish care.  So, as you can see, I love all animals. Animals bring so much joy to a person's life with their unconditional love and affection.

I have invested in not only learning human First Aid and CPR and AED, but Pet CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
