STUFF STB SELLS

Yes, it costs a lot of money to send stickers out. Many of you have asked if you could help. STB doesn't accept money, and when you found out how much it costs to send a single sticker overseas, well, I don't blame y'all for changing your minds!

Here's your chance to contribute! We hand make " hard start kits ", using top quality components. Of course, there's a great deal for you here as well.

Most places sell the kit for about $25, plus shipping. Many of these are not genuine Bosch/Tyco, and have the "crimp over plastic sleeve" connectors, for ease of assembling the kit. Not the best connection, by any means. Let alond the cheesy butt connectors, and that flimsy male spade connector - which rarely keeps the Terminal-50 female away from the elements. Or the fact that some don't even use a proper wiring harness.

STB hard start kits use a Palladin tool for the proper terminal crimping, and shrink tube to protect the joint. Genuine Bosch/Tyco relays are used. The in-line fuse holder is a 3M 972 unit, assembled with aquarium grade sealant to protect the wire-to-component connection. The fuses are high-quality, not low priced. The wiring (a true harness) is at least 10" in length (up to 24", on request, no additional charge), so placement of the relay is easy. The male spade is a robust plastic (VW, or re-popped by Wolfsberg West) connector that will shield both wires coming into it. The installation instructions are on-line here for your perusal.

The price? How about $17.20. Shipping will be $4.80 to the lower 48, for a total of $22 SHIPPED. Go compare! Better quality at a lower price - that's the STB way! You know you should be running a hard start kit. They put a lot less strain on your ignition switch and starter. Now you can get an "STB deal" on them!
