Brevard County 800 mHz System upgrade:
- The Fire Rescue radio are still being reprogrammed with a much simpler bandplan. See webpage for updated talkgroups. All TAC channels are now W/A.
- Radios and towers will be upgraded with additional frequencies starting early February 2014.
- The Barefoot Bay Transmit/Receive South Simulcast Tower will start transmitting August 2014.
- The Scottsmoor Transmit/Receive North Simulcast Tower will start transmitting 2015.
- The Sharpes Transmit/Receive North Simulcast Tower will start transmitting 2014/2015.
- The entire system will be changed to a P25 Trunked System 2017.
