NOTES
Talkgroup 01-041 - All radios in the system have this talkgroup.

Talkgroup 01-044 - Used during hurricanes and severe weather for weather announcements, damage
     assessment reports, etc. Also used for Space Shuttle and Rocket launch status. All radios 
     in the system have this talkgroup.

Talkgroup 05-055 - Used by Traffic Operations - Signals Division, Road & Bridge etc. to communicate
     with County Control.

The Alert channels are used for special events or details (Space Coast Stadium, County Fair, SeaFeast, etc.).
     During an emergency or evacuation the talkgroups are assigned as follows:
        Alert 1 - North County
        Alert 2 - Central County
        Alert 3 - South County
        Alert 4 - SCAT Evacuation Transportation
     All radios in the system have these talkgroup.

Only the repeater output frequencies are listed. The repeater input frequencies are 45.00 MHz lower.

Not all talkgroups are active, some talkgroups are assigned but not used and some are for future use. 
Other talkgroups are only used during a major emergency.

Digital Talkgroups
 - Some sheriff and city police department talkgroups (detective, investigations, etc.) use ProVoice 
   Digital Mode. Talkgroups in red have been confirmed as being digital.
 - Digital talkgroups cannot be monitored by any scanner.
 - When a talkgroup is transmitted in the EDACS ProVoice Digital Mode, there is no indication on the
   scanner, nothing is heard or seen on the display.
 - Most police and fire departments also use NEXTEL to pass along sensitive information. NEXTEL cannot
   be monitored by any scanner.

Wide Area = County Wide - Comms are repeated on all towers.
Satellite Receivers are located in Mims, Sharpes (Jail), and Barefoot Bay.

I-Calls have been disabled on these systems.

West Melbourne / Melbourne Village / Melbourne Beach PD are dispatched by BCSO.
BCSO also provides services to the unincorporated areas of the County, the municipalities of 
Cape Canaveral, Palm Shores, Melbourne Village, West Melbourne, Malabar, Grant-Valkaria, Melbourne Beach, 
and to Port Canaveral.

Most Police Departments dispatch their not in progress (non-emergency) calls via Mobile Data Terminals (MDT). 
MDT's use the cellular phone system and not the 800 MHz Trunked System.
