About the Pacific Lacrosse League

Lacrosse is one of the most dynamic and exciting sports you can play.  Athletes need to groom skills of the game, which can be done with continuous effort.

It's also the fastest growing sport in the Nation over the last 6 year period.  As the demand for the sport has grown, many schools are at a loss on how to support a team, either financially or in finding experienced coaching.

However, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.  Even if it isn't the school.  Former players in the Los Angeles area are many times happy to step up to facilitate a team for interested athletes.  The support of a school is nice but not necessary.  When those teams look for a place to play the PLL fills the need.

The Pacific Lacrosse League  provides a venue for competition and the developmental growth of the sport to  our community of lacrosse teams in the Greater Los Angeles area.  The league functions are to organizes game schedules in order to determine a league champion for HS teams not yet affiliated with a CIF program, while requiring the highest level of sportsmanship.  Coaches follow a list of "standing rules" on their honor.  2011 brings the PLL to its 6th season of hosting teams.
