The Asheboro Copperheads are a summer college baseball team playing in the Coastal Plain League.  The league is composed of fifteen teams with players from the college and university ranks across the eastern US.  Many players have gone on to play professional baseball.

We have been season ticket holders of the Copperheads for seven years and attended regularly prior to that.  We have hosted a player in 2006,  2007, and again in 2010.

The Baseball Almanac is preserving the history of Baseball.

What would baseball be without Bud Abbott and Lou Costello asking the eternal question of "Who's on First?"

Joseph Hughes pitched for East Carolina University and stayed with us in 2010.

Brock Sutton, a short stop from East Carolina University, stayed with
us in 2007.  Brock graduated from ECU in 2010.

Here we are in 2006 with Weston Curles, a pitcher from Mount Olive College.
After graduation Wes has played for the Travers City Beach Bums in 2008
and the Kansas City T-Bones in 2009.  Wes is now teaching and coaching public school in Raleigh.
