Let Me Tell You a Little About Myself

Ms. Gullotta attended the State University of New York, Empire State College, and received a bachelor's degree in psychology. Ms. Gullotta attended Syracuse University and Capella University and received a master's degree in counseling. She is the founder and group facilitator of the Upstate Group for Panic, Anxiety and Depression, a support group that caters to individuals contending with anxiety and depression. She has successfully completed the "Attacking Anxiety and Depression" Program through the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety, Inc. Ms. Gullotta has been featured on the award-winning infomercial "Attacking Anxiety" with the founder and CEO of the Midwest Center, Lucinda Bassett. In addition, she has done both presentations and workshops throughout Central New York at St. Joseph's Mental Health Service continuing Day Treatment Program, Nami-Promise Incorporated in Syracuse and Oneida, The Baldwinsville Free Library, The Fayetteville Free Library, as well as the Jim Marshall Farms Foundation, Inc. Ms. Gullotta is determined to help promote wellness and emotional strength to enhance the overall quality of life for individuals struggling with emotional and mental health problems. She is committed to helping and motivating others.

Recently, Ms. Gullotta was honored with the "2008 Volunteer of the Year" award given out by the Mental Health Association. This award is given out each year to an individual that displays exceptional commitment and dedication to those contending with mental illness. She was cited for her "...innovative work that gives people suffering from panic, anxiety and depression the support and knowledge needed to help themselves.".
